They're having a fight on ships and that's when it gets serious as they fire cannons and things into each other and that's really when the clip ends. This fits into the action adventure genre because they are on the sea and they are probably going to have an adventure. Plus in action adventure films there is occasionally fight scenes.

Editing: The editing is fast paced in this scene and it includes a lot of quick cuts. This is because its a battle scene and it has to be fast paced other wise there's no tension and it would be a terrible scene.
Misé On Scene: This is a period film which means that they are in costumes from a certain period of time. The props in the film are some ships, cannons, cannon balls, guns are the props in the film.
